Wooden house from Belarus for the USA: Archiline project in Hancock, New Hampshire

Belarusian company LLC "ASK Archiline", specializing in the design, production and construction of houses from wood, continues to expand the geography of its international projects. Another confirmation of the company’s high level of competence was the project of an individual residential house made of glued beam, produced in the Republic of Belarus and intended for delivery to Hancock, New Hampshire (USA).

International experience and export of wooden house building

Archiline is a full-cycle manufacturing and construction company based in Minsk. The company combines architectural design, engineering, factory manufacturing of assemblies and their subsequent delivery to customers outside the country. In this project, the company is not just a supplier of materials, but a developer of an individual set of prefabricated construction structures made of wood, adapted to the climatic and operational requirements of the Northeast USA.

The house project is designed as a compact, functional and energy-efficient residential facility that is optimal for private living in Hampshire.

Architectural and planning solutions

According to the project documentation, the house has a total area of 71.78 m2 and one-storey layout. The layout includes living and auxiliary rooms with a rational zoning, and the architectural appearance emphasizes the aesthetics of a modern wooden house with wide window openings and low rock roof profile. The visual materials of the project demonstrate a concise but expressive architecture, oriented towards comfort and natural light (prospective views and floor plan are presented in the project on pp. 1-5).

Construction base: glued profiled beam

The key element of the project is the use of a glued profiled beam with a cross-section of 160x185 mm and a humidity of 10-12%. This material forms the load-bearing walls of the house and provides:

  • Geometrical stability of the structure;

  • minimal shrinkage

  • High thermal insulation properties;

  • durability and resistance to climatic changes.

The total cost of wall load-bearing elements from glued beam within the project was 26,992.14 USD, which reflects the significant amount of factory preparation and processing accuracy.

Engineering solutions and assemblies

To increase design reliability, the project uses state-of-the-art bracing and compensation solutions, including TEDWOOD spring units designed for working with wood walls under seasonal changes in humidity and temperature. Additional construction elements and reinforced fasteners ensure the stability of the house geometry throughout its service life.

Slatted system and roof structure

The bearing roof system is made of glued elements of different cross-sections (90 125 mm, 90 190 mm, 90 210 mm), including strut legs, elbows and diagonal elements. This scheme allows for the uniform distribution of loads and takes into account the snow loads that are characteristic of the state of New Hampshire. The total cost of the structural elements of the stringing system was USD 2,696.01.

Cost and assembly of the kit

According to the commercial proposal, the total cost of the kit was USD 31,778.31 with VAT. This amount includes the main wall elements, additional fasteners and load-bearing roof elements. The assembly is manufactured under factory conditions in Belarus and prepared for transport with subsequent dispatch to the customer in the USA.

The detailed structure of the budget, schedule of financing and composition of the set are given in the commercial offer of LLC "ACC Archiline" from 10.10.2025

Belarusian quality for US market

The project in Hancock, New Hampshire, clearly demonstrates the possibilities of Belarusian wooden house construction on the international market. The combination of engineering accuracy, quality wood, factory production and individual approach allows "Archiline" company to compete successfully and implement projects thousands of kilometers from the place of production.

The delivery of this house in the USA is not just an export of a construction kit, but an example of how Belarusian technology and architectural school find their application in private housing in North America, meeting high standards of quality, reliability and aesthetics.
